Important terms on the subject of GAEB XML
GAEB X80
LV catalogues are stored in the X80 format. Universal LV data, i.e. all relevant information and descriptions together with quantities and prices, are managed here. A GAEB X80 can be used, for example, as a master LV or mother LV. In GAEB 90 the file is called GAEB D80 and in GAEB 2000 the name is P80.
GAEB X81
Pure service descriptions are saved in the X81 format. These contain the OZ (item numbers), short texts and long texts as well as the (quantity) units. A GAEB X81 has no quantities and no prices. In GAEB 90 the file is called GAEB D81 and in GAEB 2000 the name is P81.
GAEB X82
Cost estimates are saved in the X82 format. These contain the OZ (item numbers), short texts and long texts, (quantity) units, quantities and estimated prices. A GAEB X82 can be used, for example, to exchange a cost estimate on a LV basis. In GAEB 90 the file is called GAEB D82 and in GAEB 2000 the name is P82.
GAEB X83
Requests for quotations are saved in the X83 format. These contain the OZ (item numbers), short texts and long texts, (quantity) units and quantities per item. A GAEB X83 is sent by the client to the companies in order to request offers. In GAEB 90 the file is called GAEB D83 and in GAEB 2000 the name is P83.
GAEB X84
In the format X84 is used to store bids submitted by bidders. These contain the OZ (item numbers) and the bid prices of the companies participating in the bidding procedure. In GAEB 90 the file is called GAEB D84 and in GAEB 2000 the name is P84.
GAEB X85
Subsidiary offers are saved in the X85 format. These contain the OZ (item numbers), short texts and long texts, units, quantities and prices. If sub-bids are permitted, companies can submit a sub-bid with alternative design variants in addition to their main bid. In GAEB 90 the file is called GAEB D85 and in GAEB 2000 the name is P85.
GAEB X86
The order specifications are saved in the X86 format. These contain the OZ (item numbers), short texts and long texts, units, quantities and the commissioned prices. In GAEB 90 the file is called GAEB D86 and in GAEB 2000 the name is P86.
GAEB X89
In the format X89 invoices are saved as e-invoices. A GAEB X89 file contains all the essential information to create a legally compliant invoice based on the current LV measurement. In addition to the pure invoice information, it also contains the LV items with the quantities relevant for the invoice.
GAEB X31
In the format X31 the quantity takeoff is stored in the form of LV quantities and measurements. With a GAEB X31 file, measurements can be transmitted digitally to the client and read directly into his AVA programme, for example for invoice verification. This format is only available in GAEB XML. This exchange phase does not exist in GAEB 90 or GAEB 2000. The counterpart to GAEB X31 used to be the still commonly used format D11.
