If the following error occurs under Windows 10 when starting the program, then this is due to an activated UTF-8 beta function in Windows 10.
The option"Beta Unicode UTF-8 for global language support" must be disabled in Windows.
To disable the option, please do the following in Windows 10:
•Call up the settings via Start.
•In the Windows settings, select Time and Language.
•Then call up Language
•Click on Administrative Language Options
•On the Administrative tab click Change locale
•Uncheck Beta Unicode UTF-8 for support of global languages and click OK.
Now restart the PC. After that, "GAEB-Online 2023" can be started.
